The Company carries out mediation in employment abroad under a licence issued by the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, Series AG No. 507892, issued on 21 April 2011 under Decision No. 142 dated 20 April 2011; the licence is of unlimited duration.

1. Acceptance

These Terms govern the use of compass-crew.com, including browsing information, submitting CVs, applications and messages. The website owner is COMPASS CREW LTD / LLC “COMPASS CREW, LTD”, company code 20955043.

By using the website, you confirm that you have read these Terms. If you disagree, stop using the website.

2. Purpose

The website provides information about the Company, crewing services, current vacancies, CV submission, contacts and safety rules. Content is general information and is not a public offer or an employment guarantee.

3. Vacancies

A vacancy reflects a request current at the time of publication but may be changed, suspended or closed without notice. Contract terms, pay, joining date and documents are finally confirmed by the employer.

The embedded vacancies catalogue is an external resource. Availability and technical operation may depend on an independent provider.

4. CV submission

Submitting a CV does not guarantee review within a fixed period, an interview, approval, a contract, visa or joining. Final decisions may be made by an employer, shipowner or vessel operator.

The user confirms that information is accurate, documents are lawfully supplied and not forged. A profile may be rejected if information is incomplete, false or inconsistent.

5. Verification

The Company may verify certificates, sea service, references and professional details through lawful sources. Our organisational review does not replace official verification by an issuer or competent authority.

6. Communication

By contacting us, you agree to receive messages through the details provided concerning vacancies, documents, interviews, travel and cooperation. Official email is sent from the compass-crew.com domain.

7. Employer services

Search, review, coordination and reporting scope is defined by a written arrangement or contract. The Company does not guarantee candidate availability, final approval or a decision by an independent institution.

8. Payments

Viewing the website, vacancies and submitting a CV does not automatically require payment. Any separate paid service must be described, priced and supported by payment details before payment.

Do not pay for guaranteed employment or vacancy “reservation”. Never disclose PINs, CVV/CVC, passwords or one-time codes.

9. Privacy and cookies

Personal data is processed under the Privacy Policy. Cookies and embedded services are described in the Cookie Policy.

10. Permitted use

Users may browse the website, submit lawful enquiries and use content for personal, non-commercial purposes.

11. Prohibited use

• impersonating the Company, its staff or partners;
• submitting forged documents or false data;
• unauthorised access, vulnerability scanning or interference;
• malware, spam or automated data harvesting;
• copying the vacancy database, design or substantial content;
• using the name or logo for fraud.

12. Intellectual property

Rights in the design, text, logo, graphics, code and original materials belong to the Company or lawful rights holders. Third-party photographs and embedded materials are used under their owners’ terms.

Commercial copying, imitation of the website or publication on behalf of the Company requires written permission.

13. Third-party resources

Links, maps, vacancy catalogues and other third-party services operate independently. The Company does not control their continuous availability, policies, security or content.

14. Disclaimer

The website is provided as available. The Company does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, absence of errors, continuing vacancy availability or outcomes controlled by an employer, authority, carrier or other third party.

15. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for indirect loss, lost opportunities, decisions based on unverified information, fraud by third parties, external resources or independent organisations.

Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

16. Force majeure and interruptions

Operation may be affected by maintenance, cyberattacks, power or communications failures, armed conflict, government decisions, border closures, travel disruption and other circumstances beyond reasonable control.

17. Changes and restriction

The Company may change the website, functions and these Terms. The current version is published here.

Access may be restricted for legal violations, breach of these Terms, security threats or fraudulent use.

18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Ukrainian law, subject to mandatory rules of other applicable jurisdictions. Before litigation, the parties should seek resolution through written communication.
